Jazz pianist, Sophie Min composes, educates, performs and teaches and is currently studying for her Masters degree under Steve Newcomb, Zac Hurren and Ken Stubbs.

She enjoys playing her originals and arrangments featuring her own contemporary jazz approach and unique colours with varied small ensembles. She performed as a freelancer musician with many great local players including Kristin Berardi, Rafael Karlen, John Hoffman, Elly Hoyt and Sharney Russell. 

Sophie has performed as part of JM Jazz World Orchestra in 2015, directed by Luis Bonilla (Grammy awarded trombonist), and toured Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Croatia and Denmark. Sophie’s currently teaching as a piano tutor at Young Conservatorium Programme at Griffith University, Brisbane Music Studio and Music Education Centre.
