A 10-piece dance orchestra performing vintage charts and arrangements from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, RSDO accurately recreates classic recordings and dance music from the “Jazz Age”.
The ensemble is committed to the preservation of culturally, historically or aesthetically significant recordings, including the compositions of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Bix Beiderbecke, Joe Oliver, Fletcher Henderson and Jimmie Lunceford.
