fishlane was formed in the South Brisbane laneway of the same name in 2009. A contemporary piano trio drawing influence from Bill Withers to Bill Evans. Peta Wilson is a highly sort, Brisbane jazz pianist, accompanist, arranger, composer and educator. Her compositions & arrangements feature deep insight and vast influence.

This album (their 1st in studio) was recorded live, early in the morning, in Brisbane’s west end. First takes before fishlane was actually awake. If you listen closely you can hear them dreaming throughout the entire album.
